FOUR PUZZLES ABOUT LIFE

PUZZLE (a)
WORTHINESS OF LIFE.

“I must be productive to feel worthiness of life.  True or False?”

Life is a great gift; given to you…You didn’t ask for it; you weren’t even there to ask.  Here you are:  Alive, crawling, walking and kicking about.

There is nothing in creation without a function; look around, from bee to lion, man, woman, child, cloud or mountain, wind and stars, atoms and molecules.  Each, has a place and is perfect in its level.  In the great scheme of things, worthy.   Through interdependence – better put, mutual dependence – all created entities, affirm and confirm the worthiness of all.   Besides, downers, frustrations and irritants there are many things to enjoy without price or taxation, such as  trees, seashore and waterfalls, pets and wildlife, sunrise, sunset, breeze and the clouds, some neighbors and a few family members.  To these, add home and shelter.  And, don’t forget music, poetry, song and the dance.

Do not chase after things.  Here how it goes:  Like fugitives, objects you chase lead the chase.  Breathless you become, and there will be some disappointments, for sure.  Cool it.  Calm deliberation, will you!

Cool and calm, your reception apparatus will be cool and calm, therefore functioning in a cool and efficient mode.  Cool and calm, it will receive good tidings and hints circulating in your ambiance, nascent emanations, gifts, prompters and clues, of all kinds.  These are the energies that keep the equilibrium and glory of the universe.  Equilibrium is a must for cosmic continuity.  Disequilibrium brings annihilation.  As a particle of this enterprise, you get your share of it all.  Repeating:  As a particle of this enterprise, you get your share of it all.

Being a human being you are capable of choosing to receive or not to receive, to acknowledge or to ignoreReceptive, you are connected to others, to the cosmos, to what some – me included – call the fellowship of creation, and, to the Source.   For the cosmos to function and keep renewing itself, it has to be so.  In its innate nature to be so.

Each and everything created has a purpose and a function.  True, many choose to decline, opting for distraction rather than attention, apathy instead of wakefulness, hybernation, not awareness.  And some, merely do harm.  These paradoxical behaviors are human options.  Humans being the only visible being that has the privilege and burden of choice.  All other creations perform – in perfection – what each is created for.   They have no choice.

Worthiness of life?  Well!  Life, of course has innate worthiness.  Reason being it’s the only thing alive!  If you or I, she or he do not feel worthiness of life, it is one’s own choice.  One doesn’t need information from others or conventional education to appreciate life’s worthiness.  Merely perceiving and acknowledging what our antennas (our senses) bring forth. Exception being those of us with afflictions that block life’s self-evident manifestations from reaching their perception.  And, many of these afflictions are treatable and through retraining, improvements and gains are made in many instances.

Of feelings, it’s our thinking that produces our feelings, negative or positive, unhappy or happy.  Even though our thinking is conditioned by our upbringing, race, religion, education, nationality, etc.  Still your thinking is your own product, made by you.

So, let us halt right here…the puzzle isn’t a puzzle.  Whether you agree or not, whether you see it this way or that way, fact is: in its grandeur, utter simplicity and oftenly baffling complexity, life’s worthiness is innate and inherent.  A native characteristic.  Life is too busy to halt and question its own worthiness.  Up to each and every one of us to partake of the enterprise.  Merely partaking in, you are affirming life’s worthiness as well as your own.

Friend, I hope I have answered your question and the puzzle is no more puzzling.  Hopefully, our paths will meet again.
